Good morning Vietnam, hello Halong Bay

The three last days of 2023 we finally went on a two nights three days cruise in Halong Bay in Vietnam. This had long been on my bucket list and our hotel in Hanoi booked for us. The first day we were picked up in Hanoi and drove for three hours to Halong City, included a stop at a pearl center close to Halong bay. We were transferred via a tender boat to our small cruise ship, Fantasea Cruise no 3. We had chosen a small boat because it suits us better to get known with all the passengers . Much nicer. We had some lovely experiences on our cruise and had lots of excellent food on board. Unfortunately we had rain the last day, but all in all a very nice tour. I had heard that there was lots of rubbish in the water, and indeed . Plastic rubbish sadly enough in large amounts all over the bay. The Vietnamese should really do more to clean up this. I have made two videos from our tour, and this one is from our first day. Enjoy it with us.
