Vanlife in Scotland's cities

This week we explore the populated region of Scotland, known as the Central Belt. With four fifths of Scots living in this area, we find ourselves immersed in Scotland's beautiful cities. We start the week at a beautiful park up looking over the Firth of Forth, across to Edinburgh. We take the opportunity to visit the Kelpies; huge horse sculptures that guard Scotland's waterways. We then park up in Linlithgow and take the train into Edinburgh where we put on our tourist hats and find some iconic spots. Our first spot was the Elephant House (the cafe where J K Rowling wrote Harry Potter) only to find it burnt down. We wander past the Blackfriars Bobby on our way to Arthur's Seat. After climbing the hill, we walk the Royal Mile ending up at Edinburgh Castle. We next head to Dean Village, a picturesque village in the heart of the city. In the evening we meet up with one of my friends, enjoy a few pints and then head to the Mosque Kitchen for food. The next day we drive off to Glasgow where we stay with two more friends. Exploring Glasgow takes us to The Barras, a famous brick-a-brack marketplace in the east-end. We then walk the entire length of the city to an art gallery that is closed and explore the beautiful university. Heading home, we take Glasgow's pint sized metro and find that while we were away birds have been using the van for target practice. Leaving Glasgow, we head down the coast to one of our first stops in Scotland, here Tom has a second (this time successful) attempt at fixing the exhaust for the diesel heater. This is the final video in our Scotland series, it has been so much fun. If you enjoyed this weeks video please give it a like as it really helps us. Also if you want to see what we are getting up to next (and you do!) make sure to subscribe. Thank you all so much for watching it means so much to us that so many of you are following along with us. Till next week
