September 4/22 Gorgeous clear and sunny, 28º morning at Denver International Airport. This airport is truly huge and it is busy on this morning. As busy as it is and considering Denver International is the third busiest airport in the world, it is organized well and I move very fast thru security and on into the gates. DEN is one of the busiest airline hubs in the world’s largest aviation market. DEN is the primary economic engine for the state of Colorado, generating more than $33.5 billion for the region annually. Today I am flying with Frontier Airlines. I am looking forward to flying their 2 year old Airbus A320-251N with the "Cortez the Green Turtle" livery. Frontier Airlines is a budget airline that boasts "Low Fares Done Right". The Airline also claims the title of “America’s Greenest Airline”, as they power their AIRBUS A320’s with Pratt & Whitney’s GTF Engines. I am enroute to Buffalo. Today we are landing at Buffalo Niagara International Airport. It is a very cloudy descent into Buffalo. This makes for a really spectacular landing as we come out of the low clouds right before the touchdown on the runway. The temperature was cool and 'fall-like' and overcast, making quite the contrast to the Denver takeoff.
