A mushaira is part of the Culture of North India, Pakistan and the Deccan, particularly among the Hyderabadi Muslims, and it regarded as a forum for free self-expression. मुशायरा, उर्दु भाषा की एक काव्य गोष्ठी है। मुशायरा शब्द हिन्दी में उर्दू से आया है और यह उस महफ़िल की व्याख्या करता है जिसमें विभिन्न शायर शिरकत कर अपना अपना काव्य पाठ करते हैं। Kavi Sammelan is a gathering of poets in the Hindi Belt of northern India. The participants recite their poetry to each other and have a general discussion on literary issues.
