Limited by the depths and distances of our local waters, we drop jigs and bait down in about 45-60 metres of water to see what we can catch. After toughing it out through the wind and chop, we come up with a good haul of fish for our efforts and put a red cherry on an enjoyable day. The electric reel being used is a Daiwa Tanacom 1000 with a portable battery pack that attaches directly to the reel and made light work of fishing, lasting the entire day effortlessly!
