G'day Guys, In this video I'll take you through my complete gear list of everything I'm taking on 'The Overland Track' in Tasmania. I've bought a lot of new gear with a focus on 'lightweight' and 'cost effective'. I've managed to keep my complete kit including 8 days food and 4kg of camera gear under 20kg! Running from Cradle Mountain in the north to Lake St Clair in the south, the 80km track snakes its way through pristine Tasmanian high country wilderness. Around 8000 people each year tackle the track and many like me keep going back again and again. The track can be completed in around 5 nights but we'll be taking 8 nights to allow extra time for some of the side trips along the way . . . Barn Bluff, Mt Ossa etc. In this video series I'll take you with me through the pre-trip planning & preparation, the track and side trips and a wrap up at the end once I get home.
