Been awhile... Been quite a long while. But I'm...back? Maybe? Eh... Ah...anyway... This video is simply a test. There has been a lot a people really excited about the AI Neutral Network thing and wanting to use it in upscale projects. This has brought a few people in who want to take on that challenge. And I look forward to those projects being completed if they can. I'm not saying I'm going to be doing any of this myself. I mean...I might if all the others fall through. But we'll see. Gigapixel is what's being used to make these upscales here happen. It's the same program the guy is using to upscale the FF7 backgrounds, but without all the tweaks. Downside to using this program is that it seems to move the images to the left slightly. Which seems to cause a few errors... Probably can be fixed with enough tweaking, I think. And I haven't used anything on the upscaled images to sharpen them. Only thing used in this video is reshade and it's shaders to sharpen them in-game. I might upload a few more videos using this method just so people can state their opinions and thoughts. But if there is one thing that has come from all this is more people wanting to contribute. And, to me, that's a good thing. Looking forward to seeing what this year brings.
