This one is for the Gus Frerotte die-hards - you know who you are! The 1994 Redskins were the start of a total reboot and it wasn't pretty. The developing quarterback drama between first-round draft pick Heath Shuler and umteenth-round "afterthought" Gus Frerotte became one of the few elements of intrigue (other than Reggie Roby's pursuit of the decidedly unsexy punting title for the season). After a handful of painful starts for Shuler, Turner turned to Frerotte in this mid-season road match-up in Indy, and for one week, Gus did not disappoint. Frerotte staged an error-free performance, threw a couple of TDs and benefitted from timely fourth quarter turnovers to pull off a stunner over the Colts. '94 was a rough ride, but on this day, it all went right for the Redskins, whose play looked as sharp as those handsome 75th anniversary retro uniforms. This one's called by the oddly lovable duo of Kevin Harlan and Jerry Glanville, an acquired taste we've come to love.
