Team 8 - Bonk ‘em All

Oliver Murcko, Omar Zeidan, Dáire Mahon, Katelyn Haag Our goal for this project was to design an interactive arcade game similar to that of “Whack-A-Mole”. After many iterations, we came to a final design in which one player is presented with a 3x3 grid of buttons. When the game begins, the buttons light up one at a time at random. To score a point, the player must push the button that is illuminated before it turns off, during which the speed of the button flashes increases with time. If the player fails to do so, or hits the wrong button, the buttons will illuminate unanimously to signify that the game has ended. Meanwhile, we have an LED board attached to the top of the box in which the player can view live updates of their score as they correctly press each button. They will also be notified when the game ends.
