The giant Firestone Drag Slicks put the rubber to the asphalt. Don Gartlits rail, other drag racing classics as the camera roams the site. The film zero's in on Jim Thompson's Rod Shop, and the 1970 Dodge Challenger C Gasser that takes him to victory. Transferred from a very faded color 16mm film, some color correction added.
