This is the longplay of the Hook game, an action and platform game released for the Game Gear, Sega CD, Commodore 64, Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo consoles. This is the version of the Super Nintendo, developed and published by Sony Entertainment Japan, released in 1992. The game is based on the 1991 film, distributed by Tri-Star Pictures, directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Robin Williams. The story of the game, as well as in the film, is as follows: Peter Pan already an adult, called Peter Banning. He became a successful, married lawyer, father of two and with no childhood memories. The calm is broken when Captain Hook kidnaps his children. With the help of the fairy Tinker Bell, Peter must return to Neverland to regain his youthful spirit and thus challenge his enemy Hook and his henchmen. In the game, the character uses a dagger to attack enemies and can also use a golden sword, which allows him to attack from a distance but is lost if Peter is hit by an enemy (it is possible to recover the sword occasionally between stages). In the stages, Peter also has the help of the fairy Tinker Bell, who recharges his Fly meter (so that our hero can fly between the stages and overcome obstacles). It is a game that I enjoyed playing. It has excellent graphics for the SNES and good soundtrack. Only the controls are relatively slow, but luckily it is not difficult to play this game. It's a good game from a good movie.
