It remains effective for around 105 days in Nepal. 2. Nepal receives an average of 80% of annual rainfall during monsoon, 3. This year 2017 a monsoon has started on June 12 which is 2 days later than the usual date. 9. Usually, rain occurs during the night and leaving the sky clean and clear by the morning making the Himalayan dramatic look. 10. Trekking to Khopra range, Mardi Himal in Annapurna is the best monsoon trek in Nepal for the dramatic views. While Manang, Mustang and Dolpo are in the rain-shadow areas; the mountains are high enough to block the clouds and the views are even more dramatic during Monsoon.
