As the Nagaland Assembly election is nearing, the state is witnessing back to back political jolts. Intending candidate of JD (U) from Ghaspani - II, Kitoho S Rotokha along with other higher rank and files tendered a in block resignation (Mass) from JDU party. State Executive office bearers of Janata Dal United, Nagaland led by General Secretary, Imsumongba Pongen held an emergency meeting on February 2 with the state, district and all the respective constituency office bearers, mahila and youth wing at JDU office in Dimapur and unanimously resolved for mass resignation from the party membership both primary and active. The party members stated that they had lost the confidence in the leadership of N.S.N Lotha, State President who runs a self-styled governance of the party.
