Sofia the First is a Disney Junior show that easily proves that shows for little kids can be fantastic. I got into the show as an adult and I was charmed and entertained by the story, songs, characters, etc. It's at about the same caliber in quality as My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and yet...it doesn't seem to get nearly as much love. It's very likely that because Sofia the First was marketed towards preschool girls that no one really paid attention to it...while at the same time it got just the right amount of attention from its target audience to allow it 4 seasons and 109 episodes---it had a really good run!
