The music, video, Poem, and even subtitles, all had to be weaved together to manage the pacing of the story. I really enjoyed this process. I often think and speak in layered levels of meaning. I feel like I’m communicating packages of information limited by a simple language structure of soundwaves and connotation. Ideas both metaphorical and literal operating on multiple levels are then left open to your interpretation. I think this 21st century medium of Music Video Poetry improves the ability to better communicate complex emotions, ideas, and experiences. If you enjoyed the Poem, it is because I learned from the wonderful Dr. Rob Budde, and if not, it may be because I failed to apply what he taught me. 📲 Find Me Here:   / azelzor   https://www.darkhatstudios.com 🎬 Created with Davinci Resolve & Pictory Clips 🎥 🎶 Music: Systemic Pulse ✌ Like, Comment, and Subscribe is a wonderful way to support me, please!👍💬🔔 📜 Poem Text: Escape Room By Azelzor i had a loose grip on reality i didn’t know it had a loose grip on me until it let go eventually even time fell apart and i swung back and forth tied to each breath i was a pendulum swinging 7 child of fractured existence i screamed out with triumph into the deep night and tears spilled out all around me screams of fear from my daughter elation to confusion i had solved this problem before repeatedly swinging time answering the same problem night after night as reality kept letting me go my family growing more and more afraid as each finger released I walked the path of Buddha with Jesus in my heart I the Green Knight lifted Excalibur and shoved the Infinity Gauntlet down on my head I cast spells across the multiverse and gathered Aum and spun it all on cosmic disks I psychic surgeon shifted neural networks in my brain and wished upon wishes upon the star of stars like a wizard mouse I brought 40 thousand years of chaos to humanity and this is where it all began and i was breathing fresh air handcuffed in a small plastic backseat i couldn’t swing time anymore i couldn’t escape i missed a quantum leap doorway somewhere in that last breath wrists locked behind my back into the present all the dark pasts and potential futures dissolved into cool night wind and the sounds of radios and RCMP lights my family sent their love through cop car glass i skipped like Mr Robot Moon Knight still blinking between the cartoon mouse and a scared father without enough air into a Psych Ward escape room alone without any clues i took the thin colored blanket of woven red and blue threads and tried to chase them back to infinity shifting strings of time and space weaving and flowing at different angles of magical design if only i could align them to create the perfect pattern i could escape the escape room with no clear puzzles has the most obvious answers.
