Zoomed in RANK B This took a while as it's somewhat RNG dependent on your Rivals skill if you get a SPB or not SPB and Shrink are just guaranteed time loss. They are a speedrunners worst nightmare. Ironically sometimes the best way to save time is to go slower which I am not a fan of. The further away you get from the pack the more likely you'l see a Shrink and if the Rival can't keep up with you then you get a SPB. Some stages are almost guaranteed to get a SPB cause they can't keep up with the speedrun route. Bubble+Lightning shield aren't much better to deal with either. The Rival ALWAYS gets this in 1st or 2nd it feels like and they never fail to hit it 1:02 - I just dropped a trap for future me. No CPU will ever hit that 1:39 - Wow we are off to a bad start. Shrink and SPB on the 1st track. Getting a SPB here is pretty rare normally 2:10 - The fact I still finished faster than 1:20 IGT is a miracle with everything I tried to screw myself over and the Shrink+SPB 2:55 - I went way too far to the right and fumbled the 1st shortcut. On the plus side it means no SPB on the 2nd lap 3:52 - And there is the SPB right on cue. I was shocked this didn't happen on the 2nd lap on the previous run 6:10 - That was way too close to going wrong 7:49 - Suddenly Spinning Top. I know it's called a Garden Top but I didn't even notice it was from S3 when I first saw it. It's always going to be Spinning Top to me 7:58 - Uh thanks Knuckles I guess. Could've been a gold split or at least very close to if I hadn't done that 20:34 - I like how close I was to getting the item from the ghost, I retake 1st and it's like "Hold up he's 1st slow down a lot" 20:44 - It was invincibility too! If I knew I had that queued up I wouldn't have took the quick boost ring earlier. Then I wouldn't have got 1st back 22:17 - Oh the dead stop again. Why can't it bounce me a bit to the right! 22:27 - How did I not grab that? 24:07 - I'm doing it again. Dropping a Mine only I will hit 31:25 - I've charged too early... No way I survived that. That can't be more than like half a second from overcharging 32:52 - Why did I try and snipe Eggman... 35:50 - Shrink+SPB 4 times. And this Shrink really messed me up 41:53 - Woah! Motobug really wanted to fault me there. Was not expecting that 43:15 - Rival really wants me to have the Eggmark And then I come to a dead stop on a side wall again 44:14 - Whoops. Didn't meant to do that 45:12 - I call BS. The invincibility music had NOT finished yet. And I could still see the invincibility boost aura 55:51 - Rival trying to make me reset here again. I don't think so! I was lucky to have avoided it honestly 58:09 - I would count this but the SPB is hardly going to reach me in time to matter Also 1st time I've had a SPB on this track 59:43 - Prepare to be deafened in 3... 2... 1... 1:00:42 - How did Eggman bump me up? 1:01:21 - I keep doing that. Hitting the item button before I've held down 1:04:43 - Dam it Eggman you ruined my Tripwire strat 1:08:23 - Game was having a moment there 1:10:19 - Suddenly Shrink lasers! This stage also gets brighter rather than darker with Shrink active 1:17:49 - I was deliberately holding on to the Lightning Shield in case a SPB was about to lock on 1:17:58 - Ok it seems safe, I can't go faster holding this and I'm not getting a SPB so let's move on 1:18:04 - You are joking me..
