This is my complete sewing tutorial that goes with my sewing pattern "The Laney-Jane Bag" by Janelle MacKay, of Emmaline bags. Sew along with me! 𝐃𝐄𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐒 & 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐒 𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐎𝐖 ↓ The Laney-Jane is a vintage inspired structured bag, designed with a beginner to advanced bag maker in mind. The interesting construction methods, hanging zipper pocket divider, and turning method are implemented to help us make a heavily stabilized bag without the need of specialized machines and handcrafting techniques. This allows us to create a quick and easy stabilized bag using a domestic machine and the supplies most of us already have! Although instructions are geared towards both heavier fabric and quilting cottons, only advanced level bag makers with heavy duty domestic machines should use faux leather or vinyl in their bag.
