What is Stereotaxis Robotic Ablation for Cardiac Arrhythmia?

Robotic Magnetic Navigation (RMN) introduces the benefits of highly sophisticated robotics technology to allow for safe and effective cardiac ablation procedures. RMN fundamentally transforms catheter navigation using magnetic fields and robotic precision to navigate a magnetic catheter directly from the tip. The technology consists of two robotically-controlled magnets next to the operating table. During the procedure a specialized cardiologist, called an electrophysiologist, uses an intuitive computer interface to adjust the magnetic field around the patient. This allows the electrophysiologist to precisely direct and steer a cardiac ablation catheter that has a magnet embedded in its tip. Hundreds of physicians at over one hundred leading hospitals globally have used this technology to treat over 100,000 arrhythmia patients to date. The benefits of RMN are well established, with over 300 peer-reviewed scientific publications documenting the benefits of RMN. ******* SUBSCRIBE to YouTube: https://goo.gl/bk75xE Facebook:   / stereotaxis   Twitter:   / stereotaxis   LinkedIn:   / stereotaxis   http://www.stereotaxis.com/ ******* Stereotaxis Intended Use Statements, United States Labeling: The Niobe™ ES system is intended to navigate compatible magnetic devices through tissue to designated target sites in the right and left heart and coronary vasculature and peripheral vasculature by orienting the device tip in a desired direction. The Stereotaxis Cardiodrive™ automated catheter advancement system (CAS) is intended for automatically advancing and retracting only compatible magnetic electrophysiology (EP) mapping and ablation catheters inside the patient’s heart when used in conjunction with a Stereotaxis magnetic navigation system. The Cardiodrive™ system is not intended to advance the EP mapping and ablation catheters through the coronary vasculature or the coronary sinus.
