Frosty's Let's Plays: StarCraft - Enslavers Mission #2 - Playing with Fire (No Commentary Run)

#smallyoutuber #pcgaming #pcgames #starcraft #walkthrough #walkthroughgameplay #walkthroughgameplaynocommentary #nocommentarygameplay #nocommentary This mission was a colossal pain to clear - took me around three tries because Red and Orange have a tendency to join in attacks a lot! Also, I forgot that hotkeys for teams of units exists... Whoops. Anyways... [ENSLAVERS EP. 1 MISSION II: PLAYING WITH FIRE] - Disobey a direct order and rescue Protoss units OR - Don't trust the Protoss and just destroy the Zerg Cerebrate once and for all - Tom Kazansky and Magellan must survive You get two new heroes out of the gate - Tom Kazansky, a Wraith hero unit and Magellan; a Science Vessel - make good use of their abilities when the situation calls for it. Although I enjoy turning Magellan into Murdergellan through Irradiate. Anyways, you start with a Command Center, the two heroes, two marines and two SCV's - start building up your economy and tech. Make sure to build a bunker early into this mission since most of the Zerg attacks will happen at the bridge in the East. Your first Vespene Geyser is going to be very far as it is found in the far right of your starting position. You can either build another Command Center if you want; but I prefer the long distance method and have lines of SCVs gathering the gas there. You got two choices of expansion - the Zerg expansion to the west or the Brown Terran base to east. However, the Zerg expansion to the west is the better choice as it takes less effort and gives you a Vespene Geyser with more gas. Use a combination of Siege Tanks, Marines, maybe Goliaths if you can afford it. Have Tom Kazansky and Magellan act as AA support and detector support when attempting to take the Zerg expansion. When aiming for the Cerebrate objective, tech up to Battlecruisers, research Yamato Gun and their Energy upgrade as BCs will form your main attacking force towards the Zerg base. Snipe the Spore Colonies on the Zerg's main island in the center part of the map. At centermost section, you can find their Cerebrate - it will take around six hits from Yamato Gun to destroy it - once it is gone, you win the mission. Now for the alternate objective which is rescuing the Protoss - you can simply speedrun it with Tom Kazansky and Magellan by using Defense Matrix and sending him to the Northeast part of the map - make sure to have Magellan tailing behind him to recast Defense Matrix when needed. The Protoss units are found inside an enclosed area and once you make contact with their units there, you will also win the mission. Take note that depending on the objective cleared - it will take you to a different mission. Clearing the Cerebrate objective leads you to the 3A mission while clearing the Protoss objective takes you to the 2B mission which leads to the 3B mission.
