And is it just a momentarily fling or does it signify a true revival of the classic Metal scene? While we all can of course just assume that the reason for the new Saxon, Bruce Dickinson, Judas Priest, Accept and other albums in 2024 is just an old artists’ desire to release something new to stay afloat knowing that it won’t last forever, in reality there are actually some much bigger processes in place here that will have a long term effect on Metal music… so let’s discuss them In only about the first four months of 2024, metalheads have already been blessed by Saxon’s Hell, Fire & Damnation, Blaze Bayley’s Circle of Stone, Bruce Dickinson’s The Mandrake Project, Judas Priest’s Invincible Shield and Accept’s Humanoid among the many other amazing Heavy Metal metal albums… and this is just a start of the year, we already know there are many more coming soon! And of course this pattern did not simply start this year, but I guess just somewhat culminated in 2024.
