Welcome to the town stuck in between two countries and split into different chunks. Baarle – Nassau belongs to the Netherlands while Baarle – Hertog belongs to Belgium. Together, they form the complex region known as Baarle. In this video, I take you around one of the comlpex border anomalies in the world where differnt chucks of this town is scattered inbetween the two countries resulting into enclaves, with the borders, sometimes, splitting people's homes, resturants, shops and supermarkets into two. The town have become a popular tourist attraction, drawing visitors who are intrigued by the unusual border arrangements. The municipality has also benefited from cross-border trade and tourism, with shops and restaurants catering to visitors from both Belgium and the Netherlands.
