2023 Tata Safari Facelift | So Much Better | First Drive Review | evo India

Tata Motors has given the 2023 Safari facelift sharper styling, more kit on the inside and a much-needed mechanical upgrade — the Electric Power Assisted Steering. The EPAS now improves this SUV's driving dynamics, making it more fun and easier to drive than before. It retains the tried and tested FCA-sourced 2-litre turbo-diesel engine and gets the option of either a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter automatic. In the styling department, the new Safari now boasts a bigger grille, full-width LED light bar at the front and back and larger 19-inch alloy wheels. It gets an overhauled interior with a capacitive touch panel on the dash, an improved infotainment touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster and a larger four-spoke variant of Tata's new digital steering wheel which we first saw on the facelifted Nexon. The Safari also gets ADAS with adaptive cruise control with stop and go. It gets a whole host of new goodies including ventilated front and second row seats and a neat comfort feature that'll help you to sleep better in the second row.
