Factor Lando XC Race Bike | Cape Epic Tested!

Factor has entered the mountain bike market for the first time with two frames, the Lando HT and the Lando XC. These cross country race bikes made their debut earlier this year at the Cape Epic under the Amani Racing Team. A cycling team that provides opportunities for riders in East Africa to gain international racing experience. Factor are much better known for their 02 VAM road race bike ridden in the World Tour by the likes of Chris Froome for Israel Start Up Nation but the Lando sees them make the jump from making MTB frames for other brands, to producing their own bike. A Lando XC has arrived at BikeRadar HQ for review so here are five key things you need to know. Number one. The Lando XC uses a single-link arrangement with FlexStays. Two. Factor have paid attention to reducing weight in any area they can. Three. The frames feature a new T47 bottom bracket standard developed in conjunction with CeramicSpeed. Four. You can run the Lando with conventional internal cable routing or you can run it fully integrated. Finally, Black Inc, Factor’s in-house parts brand, has launched new wheels, a rigid fork and finishing kit to complement the new frames. What do you think of Factor’s first foray into mountain bikes?
