Hello everyone! This time, I covered the music of ``Small Mode'' from Namco's video game ``The Genji and the Heike Clans (Genpei Toumaden)''. We've been preparing it since the latter half of December, but we're finally able to release it 🥺😭🤩 This game is based on classic Japanese literature, so this time I tried to create a video with Japanese culture in mind. The music in this game was very good, combining traditional Japanese scales and tones with progressive rock elements. I tried to incorporate elements unique to electric violins while paying the utmost attention not to disrupt the atmosphere. This time I'm using many tones, so I've posted the effectors used for each tone in the video. Please be in when it is good reference. Also, this time I tried to incorporate a lot of finger picking techniques. I tried playing with two fingers, inspired by the electric bass, and playing with traditional Japanese instruments such as the ``biwa'' and ``shamisen'' in mind. As a new challenge, in the last scene I tried improvising using a long delay inspired by the violin performance of SUGIZO, one of the musicians I respect the most. I tried playing on the Am chord, incorporating traditional Japanese scales and famous phrases from this game. In terms of visuals, we have newly introduced two bright LED lights and an iPhone 12 with excellent HDR functionality. With this, I was able to capture both smooth 30 frames and beautiful skin🤩 I also paid more attention to video editing than ever before.
