A week cruising south on the Canal du Nivernais in Burgundy France. I was onboard a canal boat called Beauregard owned by Australian friends. Beautiful countryside drifting by at a slow pace, lots of interesting villages, the medieval town of Clamecy, and other folks on the canal and running the many locks made for an enjoyable time. The trip departed from Auxerre and travelled south to Châtillon-en-Bazois in Burgundy, France. From the owner, Gary: BEAUREGARD was built by Locaboat Industries in France. The Company still exists (HQ in Joigny) and operates now purely as a charter company. My boat type, the “classic 1107” is not built anymore, but the company does sell off their older “classics" when they reach a certain point. Filmed in 1080p 50fps using internal mike, hand held with a Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 camera. Edited in Apple Final Cut Pro X.
