Senri Kawaguchi, Sept 20, 2022 (near) Toronto, Canada!

UPDATE: (Dec. 19, 2022) Just now noticed that you can watch this in 4K too, by adjusting the video quality settings, clicking on the little gear icon at the bottom of the screen. I had originally thought it was only going to go as far as 1080p (which is still fine), as it did not seem to want to process beyond that point for the longest time. But fortunately, it did! Further update... As much as I was enjoying all the positive feedback in the comments section, I was finally fed up with occasional complaints from morons continually whining about the audio, surprisingly, even since the final paragraph below explained that I'm not a professional camera crew, with multiple high-end microphones, etc. I had finally decided to eliminate comments when some of these ignorant clowns even began to insult me! I do not ask for 'likes', 'followers', or money, and do videos like this, figuring drumming fans and fans of Senri just might appreciate it. Anyway... The town of Aurora (close enough toToronto!) welcomes the world-renowned drummer, Senri Kawaguchi to 'Drummer's Hangout' drum and percussion shop, on September 20, 2022. A great time was had by all, watching and listening to Senri's exciting and brilliant playing, as well as various question and answer breaks in between. Also, the background tracks could have been louder. However (because of that), Senri's great drumming is all the more prominent here! Cameras: for the little bit about the Japanese and English pronunciation of 'Senri', a Go Pro 10 was used. For the rest I used a Sony a7C with the kit lens (for zooming), and a Sony ECM B1M mic, perched atop a camera case on my lap. The cameras and mic could have performed better and, in fact, I would have used more cameras and mics, but I had only heard about the drum clinic/performance just the afternoon or evening before, so grabbed what I could, and took off to a place I had no idea how to even get to! (sigh)... As of April, 2023, I've had to put up with at least three or four people whining (one moron even insulting me), because of the audio. As I said above, this drum clinic was all very sudden; I didn't even know if Yamaha, or the shop would even allow any kind of recording, audio or video, and did the best I could with what I had, since I did finally get permission at the last minute. As the old saying goes "Whatdaya want for nothin'!" As of this moment, this video is getting closer to 100K, and I'm sure most people are reasonably content with it. For those bozo armchair critics of the audio: if you want to get the best-sounding, best audio of Senri 'live', then stop your whining, dole out a bit of cash, and order one of her DVDs or Blu-rays from Amazon!
