It was always 737-800s and -900s for the last few years. Obviously, because of COVID the passenger load was light. I don't think economy was even half full. First class had at least one person in each row. This was the fastest takeoff I've had in a 757! We were off the ground in 20 seconds! It was a nice flight back home. Low clouds over Seattle but that's expected during the winter. Thankfully all the snow had melted in the week I was gone. After landing you can see Alaska's 737 Max parked by their maintenance hangar. You'll also see a lot of the international carriers parked at the S Gates. We had to hold short of our gate twice because we were early. The 737-800 you see as we taxi by was the aircraft I flew down to LA.
