You can see the rocket lock on and track its target. Suddenly, the soldiers celebrate as the aircraft is hit. More video shows two Ukrainian helicopters in the same area. The Mi-24s pull up before ‘lobbing’ rockets at the Russians. Their targets were likely in the town of Ocheretyne, near Avdiivka. A third piece of footage shows a Russian jet opening fire. The Su-30SM opens fire with an air-to-air missile. It is thought the footage was taken over Russian territory. The air war is heating up in Ukraine as anti-air missiles run short. It has allowed both sides to push aircraft closer to the front.
