In this video, Lloyd teaches you how to do your first Backspin using a spinner. This is a key figure skating move to learn if you want to jump on the ice as this is your rotation position. If you can spin fast and balanced in this position, you will have a much better ability to spin fast and balanced in your jumps. This figure skating spin can be challenging at first, which is why I have broken it down into a few simple steps to help you learn to do one. Take it slow and easy at first and with time you will find that you make amazing figure skating progress. Try to hit all 3 positions when doing backspins!
