Make sure to follow me on twitch to watch my streams live!   / brianmp16   After hundreds of hours of grinding over the course of many years, I have finally defeated the Grox on hard difficulty by destroying every single one of their colonies. This is simply the completion video; My video that goes into the details of defeating the Grox with the methods I used can be found here:    • Spore: How I defeated the Grox (with ...   Briefly though, I traversed to and around the Center of the Galaxy extending radially to about where the arms of the Milky Way branch off and I one by one destroyed every Grox colony from 5000+ Planets. I actually went above and beyond for this challenge and destroyed every possible Grox colony I could before visiting the Center of the Galaxy and receiving the Staff of Life. The reason why it's more of a challenge this way is because you can only move 3pc (parsecs) at a maximum from solar sytem to solar system near the center of the galaxy before actually visiting the center. Once you visit the center, your movement will extend to its maximum range of 20pc. Some of the Grox planets are beyond 3pc away from any solar system and even allies will not attack them if they are more than 3pc away, so the only possible way to reach them is visiting the center of the galaxy and then destroying them afterwards. Another method of defeating the Grox is using allied species to attack the Grox for you. This method is faster but in my opinion less rewarding because the galaxy gets clustered with all these different species. I did however uplift a bunch of species in the center ring so I could use them to replenish my items every now and then. After 10 hours or so, those colonies become obsolete and were actually annoying because they kept asking for favors and getting angry at me for ignoring them and then they attacked my colonies. After I allied with the Grox early on, every species that knew of my existence immediately went to war with me because Allying the Grox will make the rest of the galaxy hate you. Because of that, I needed to make a new place to call home where I could farm money quickly. I spent about 30 hours building a massive purple spice farm at the very end of one of the milky way arms with dozens of species that I uplifted so they didn't hate me. I am able to max out 99,999,999 Sporebucks in 20 minutes or so. With this set up, all that was left was the long grind of destroying every Grox colony. I say in the video I don't know what to do now, but I actually do know what to do. First, I'll complete getting every badge point which won't take too long, comparatively, and then I'll attempt to find every treasure and unique planet in the galaxy. Keyword is attempt since there is a possibility not every treasure was generated on planets throughout the galaxy when Spore was initially installed on my computer.
