She invites Tom to the victory party and while he is there, the horse's trainer is murdered. What first appears to be death by natural causes turns into a homicide investigation when the autopsy reveals the man died from a drug used on horses. As the investigation proceeds, Tom struggles with his feelings about Dominique and the horse racing.
