NASCLA is a non-profit organization dedicated to uniformity in construction standards across state licensing agencies. What this means for contractors is that if you hold a NASCLA license it may be possible for you to forego a trade examination in another state that recognizes NASCLA's examination. It is important to remember that NASCLA is not a contractor license. It is an approved examination that is accepted by various state licensing boards.
