Lackawanna Cut-Off - Part 39: Close Encounters 1st, 2nd, 3rd Kind - Johnsonburg, NJ w/ Debra Natyzak

Over the years, Roseville Tunnel has seen upwards of 800,000 trains pass through it--passenger and freight--but it may be the only railroad tunnel that has ever had a UFO pass through it as well. We'll talk about that, and other sightings, in this episode. In a previous episode we've highlighted reports of the paranormal on the Cut-Off, apparitions and strange lights. In this episode, we go in another direction and explore reports of UFOs near Johnsonburg, NJ on or near the Cut-Off. We'll talk with Debbie Natyzak who has spent her whole life in Johnsonburg and has witnessed not only lights from a craft that landed on the Cut-Off next to her farm--a Close Encounter of the Second Kind--but who also saw alien creatures walk--"wobble" in her words--past her nearby house, a Close Encounter of the Third Kind! Then there are additional reports from other witnesses who have seen triangular crafts hovering in different places in the area--Close Encounters of the First Kind. There's also the report by retired Erie Lackawanna towerman Arthur Erdman, which we previously showed in Part 34, where he describes the light that engineer Andy Barbara saw in the late-1960s on an eastbound passenger/mail train (No. 10) near Johnsonburg. Together, we have five separate reports of UFOs (six or more if we count reports from neighbors who declined to provide further details of what they had seen over the years). As the opening sequence presents, this stuff is real. It may seem to be "wacky," but that doesn't change the reality of it, and that these sightings aren't all that uncommon.
