I borrowed a friend's low chassis GS to make a video on the features and benefits of the lower bike for shorter riders . I enjoyed it so much that I decided to buy one to replace my taller , R 1200 GS. This is the story of my first 1000 miles . Mostly in the rain and taking it easy with the engine and gearbox initially, how did I get on with the bike in the real world? How did the bike ride in the British winter conditions?
