Five Great Guitars - Gypsy Jazz Guitar Camp (Documentary). From February 28th until March 5th, 2023 in Beukenhof - Benzenmortel, Eindhoven, The Netherlands. During 5 days I had the opportunity to live, play and learn with Stochelo Rosenberg, Paulus Schäfer, Christiaan Van Hemert, Jan Kuiper, and Digmon Roovers. Detailed concepts about the Gypsy Jazz sound, the use of the pick, intros, endings, voicings, solos in different songs, and how to interpret melodies. Every day we had group classes dedicated to improvisation and rhythm guitar accompaniment. And individual classes with all teachers. In addition to my private classes, I had the opportunity to attend several other private classes with fellow students, which gave me a greater understanding of the needs and difficulties of other people, as well as the teaching process of the masters themselves. This Documentary represents the spirit of the music of Django Reinhardt and praises the fantastic work that the Five Great Guitars Gypsy Jazz Camp unfolded. The moments presented here are just a small proportion of events that happened during this week. Although I tried to record and include everybody, please accept my apologies for not being able to do so.
