John Stone, Issue #1 - A Day in The Life of a Comic Shop Owner

This is a documentary short that I produced for class along with my amazing group partners Adrienne and Weiwen. Mountain Empire Comics is an independent comic book shop located in Johnson City, Tennessee. It is owned by the colorful John Stone, who has a passion not only for the comics he sells and collects, but for the people who have built a loving community around his store for over twenty years. Many thanks must be given to the wonderful Mr. Stone who opened up beautifully to us. Thanks must also be given to the patrons who allowed us to film them (even though some didn't make the final cut) we could not have done it without you. I also cannot stress how awesome Adrienne and Weiwen were in the creation of this film, thank you both.
