He is known for the pioneering works in semiconductor field, such as CPL, one of the best energy-efficient logic circuit families, and the world-first room-temperature single-electron memories. He is now a Fellow of Hitachi Ltd. He has also established Happiness Planet, Ltd in 2020 and is the CEO of the Happiness Planet. Tsunehiro Uno｜Critic Editor-in-Chief of the critique magazines "PLANETS" and "Mononome". He has appeared in various media such as news programs and discussion programs.
