Presenting a very early New Order #basslineteardown including the haunting vocal sequence as well as Hooky's distinctive bass solo from 03:15, it was a good tester for the new Dingwall D-Roc 5 - this thing has sustain for days. Carrying on where Joy Division unfortunately left off, In A Lonely Place was the B-side to Ceremony, New Order's debut single released in March 1981. Both were unfinished Joy Division songs. I'm not sure if the first half of the song was originally played on bass or synth, but here it is in all of its glory - tuned slightly flat for added doom.
