From white sandy beaches, turquoise water to bird watching this part of the Caribbean Island has it all. Sandy Point National Wildlife Refuge provides crucial nesting habitat for endangered leatherback sea turtles and hawksbill sea turtles as well as for the threatened green sea turtle. Hundreds of volunteers help with the turtle recovery program. Every year, thousands of visitors flock to Sandy Point National Wildlife Refuge to enjoy the wide, sandy beach and warm, clear waters in a natural setting. In addition, thousands of more visitors participate in the educational experience of guided sea turtle nesting and hatching observation. We are a full time RV travel couple that sold their bricks and sticks home, of 30 years, to live our best life! We do most of traveling in a Keystone, Montana High Country, 5th Wheel that is pulled by our F#350 Super Duty.
