Why Blackmagic's 17K URSA Cinema Camera Is Going To Change The Film Industry | Blackmagic vs IMAX Blackmagic's NEW 17K Ursa Cine Camera IS INSANE!!! Alongside the newly introduced URSA Cine 12K with a full-frame sensor and the cube-style PYXIS 6K, Blackmagic Design previewed more new cameras, one of which is the URSA Cine 17K with a gigantic 65mm sensor. Grant Petty mentioned on the live stream that because of the large sensor size, they of course had to go with different lens mounts than PL or EF, which is why the URSA Cine 17K will sport LPL and Hasselblad mounts.
