Recently Sony announced that PlayStation 5 console sales have hit 59.2 million, just slightly under PS4 on a launch aligned basis. Adding to that, we know PS5 is generating more money and is a more profitable platform vs. PS4, which we know is one of the best selling consoles of all time. And yet, there's been a lot of consternation surrounding PS5's game exclusivity. Namely that is just doesn't have that many. They're either timed exclusives, cross-gen, or they get a PC release. So what gives? Well today we'll do some digging and throw out an opinion piece. Here's why the console is doing so well.
