The IWC Problem: Why Does No One Buy IWC?

IWC Watches - why don't we see more of them on wrists? We see lots of Rolex, Omega, Cartier, Seiko, Grand Seiko when we go to Redbar or see other people in the streets - but now as much IWC. How come?! That's what today's video is exploring. To me, I think it comes down to 3 main things: the sizes associated with IWC watches (I am thinking of the big Pilot especially - but just pilot watches in general wear large). It reminds me a bit of what is happening with Panerai. Panerai is associated with being massive watches and it just is not the preferred style of right now. Next, is the price point. The problem is: at the price, there are just other watches people would prefer to buy. IWC is still great - and I don't think they have priced wrong - I just think it is a really competitve price. Lastly, their brand identity. For me, I think of them as that pilots watch brand - when really they offer so much more. I think they just need to work a bit on their brand storytelling.
