BULLY PICKS THE WRONG FIGHT.

THIS NEW VIDEO IS FROM 2013. RANDOM GUY WALKS IN MY GYM ASKING TO TEACH CLASS'. HE REFUSED TO LEAVE AFTER BEING TOLD GET OUT.    • Bully Pushes Boxing Coach. Coach Humb...   Everyone need to know how the story went. Since the video of “The Bully” went viral, I have not spoken up on social media about it. The video now has ≈ 6M views, which is crazy (especially after years of posting so many other great videos on my YouTube) The story of “The Bully” goes; This man called our gym 2 times to look for sparring and a place to let out his anger. He was not interested in training, just fighting. His first call, my wife answered. She listened to him talk about his street fighting history and his problems and all the reasons he wanted to come to Elite Boxing to spar. He talked for 20-30 min straight, and eventually she was able to hang up the phone and tell us about the man who had called. About a week or 2 weeks later, he called the gym again. I answered. It only took me 30 seconds of listening to know, this guy was gonna be trouble. He told me the same stories he told my wife; street fights, prison time and how tough the streets of NY had made him. Apparently, someone had recommended Elite Boxing as a great place to train. I guess he understood that as a great place to fight, not train. He was desperate to come to our gym and fight someone, anyone. I told him how our gym was run. We have classes, he can train to box during our classes, or get personal training with one of the coaches. He was traveling over an hour to come to the gym, so I made sure to let him know, class would be over by the time he arrived and that no one would be around to spar. I had no interest in training or fighting him, as I had just had hip surgery 6 weeks before (my son had been running the gym, I wasn’t even training my own fighters at this point). He had the mindset that because I had no interest to fight him, it was because I was scared... being scared makes bullies confidence go up, and become more cocky. He turned all his attention to then only wanting to fight me and bully me, because he though he had “found my weakness” About an hour and a half later he shows up at my gym wanting to fight me. He tries to convince me how good of a fighter he is and how many street and prison fights he had been in. The more he kept talking, the more I wanted him out of my gym. I continuously told him, I did not want to fight him, I did not want to train him and he could come back for class if he was serious about wanting to learn to box. I was injured, I got up using my crutches, so he could see it was no excuse, and that I was just out of surgery (6 weeks out of hip surgery that take 6 months to recover from), so I wasn’t just not interested, but I also was not supposed to be so active. As it is, bullies do not care if you are handicap or not, they find your weakness and try to take advantage of the situation. After multiple times of me telling him, I cannot fight or train him and that I am not interested. He got more and more angry telling me “pu$$y, are you backing out?” After listening to all of his BS, that was the last straw that made me decide to risked hurting my hip to shut the bully up. I gave him glove and told him to get in the ring. You can clearly see I am limping and have no amount of excitement on my face to be doing this. You can also see, The Bully has the gloves on the wrong hands, I had no intention of helping him out. His ego had gotten so big and I wanted to see if this man actually knew how to fight. At the start, I gave him every opportunity to show me what he had, and show me what skills he has that made him get so cocky. I wanted to see if he knew anything about fighting. As you see, he was all talk. That made me more infuriated, because I was risking hurting my hip for this bully who was wasting my time not knowing anything about boxing or having any respect for the sport. I had no intention to hurt him, but rather teach him a lesson and humble him down. I did not put him in any life threatening danger, each knock down was due to a lack of balance. I do plan on training “The Bully”, as we have been in communication since that day. In the end he did learn to humble down, to respect the sport and to put the gloves on the right hands. Hopefully you will be seeing more of him in future videos, being properly trained!
