This Vlog is dedicated to my 👵🏻 granny / Mentor/ Teacher to whom you can see it in this Vlog she said her age is 61 and almost she has a work experience of 50 years as you know that they (Gandpa and Granny ) had married at age of around 12. She is out here in this village since then working day and night. she says without working hard 😓 a day seems impossible. They live for this since childhood and granny without work is impossible. So, She is the One along with other elders who teaches us these field work since we were 10-12 age. We are still a learner but I can say we are skilled as well. I feel proud about it. Just know that it isn’t a easy task you can see in this Vlog we had worked from 5:00 🕔 am to 4:30 🕟 Pm that day almost 12 hours of work. It was worth it though, why 12 hours ?why are are you working so hard ? In Nepali we called why are you working like hell ( Kina Mari Hatta Gara ko ) ? Because you see the enrolment of manpower has decreased drastically this year because almost each and every member of our Village 🏘🏡🏠⛰🏔household has got a job and they had to fulfill their duties in there respective offices. While the remaining man power those who stays at home is less and just to cover up with that situation we had to work two shifts a day/ two households a day. And the another reason would be definitely the climate change/ Global warming the weather these days are unpredictable we could not estimate the proper time just like before some days it’s Damn sunny someday it’s rainy someday it’s totally a drought like situation. The season are shifting and just to cope with that we had to try hard everyday. It’s been 5 continuous working days. And the next phase is going to start now that is planting of paddy that will be continuous in coming weeks😜🤪. Maybe In coming years people of our Village ( coming generations) might leave these practices but we are one of our proud generations who are living the Legacy. APplying the methods and techniques given by our ancestors . Try and applying new methods as well . Even though the production is not much we cannot totally SUrvive on our production the whole year but at least it would be sufficient for us In the time of CRises and Scarcity.
