Pilgrimage to Milarepa Cave in Manang

{Pilgrimage to Milarepa Cave, Manang} Sharing our wonderful pilgrimage journey from Kathmandu to Milarepa Cave in Manang. Initially we had planned to spend only a week and eventually ended up staying another week due to extreme weather condition. We spent a total of three days at our main destination, Milarepa Cave and it started snowing heavily on the third day. It was pretty challenging to head down towards main Manang town in the heavy snow but thankfully we made it through. It continued snowing for the next three days followed by some more days of rain. That resulted to several landslides in many places along the way hence it became impossible for us to return back home within the first week and had to overstay in Manang. Even though we got stuck in Manang for an extra week, we had a wonderful stay having plenty of time to explore almost all of the monasteries and temples in Manang. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the local people there and their hospitality was rather heart warming. We also very much enjoyed the local delicacies. Besides the remarkable views within Manang, the journey along the way was beautiful.
