What Did the Dutch Do on D-Day? | The Netherlands' Contribution 1944

The 6th of June 1944 is better known as D-Day, the Normandy Landings where Allied forces of the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada. Despite the majority of the attacking forces coming from these nations, in truth a whole host of smaller ones contributed to the efforts. The Netherlands, while invaded by the Germans in 1940, also helped to make D-Day a success with aid from air and sea.
