Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash called Hendersonville, Tennessee their home. Today, we will visit the site of their former home that burned down in 2007 after being purchased by Bee-Gee Barry Gibb. The house was built in 1968 and Johnny Cash and June Carter spent 35 years with family and friends as well as other musicians here. There was a recording studio on the property and their neighbors included Roy Orbison and Conway Twitty. The home across the street was referred to as the Mama Cash House, which Johnny Cash bought for his parents in 1974 and is also the house Johnny and June started living in when their health declined as this house was smaller and one story. #johnnycash #nashville #countrymusic
