I was attempting the frame-perfect cutscene skip we found the other day, when on one of my attempts, I somehow ended up in full control of Ralph. After a little trial and error, I realized that as long as autosave is turned off, there are one-frame windows both before and after the Save Game screen where the player's controls are briefly enabled. Start inputs can't be buffered, but Run inputs can. So if you hold Run as you finish Level 14, the game will accept that input during the one-frame window, and Ralph will run a short distance forward. W Then when you exit the Save Game screen, he'll no longer be inside the cutscene trigger box, and you'll be free to pause and Exit straight to Planet X. So instead of a frame-perfect skip, we now have one that's trivially easy. Part of me is going to miss having those three minutes to collect myself before Planet X, but it's well worth it for a time save of this magnitude. It's also a really cool area that anyone can easily check out for themselves. Standing in the studio and looking out at Planet X is a strange vibe. This will bring the segmented Any% time down to a high 38:XX. There's an easy three and a half minutes up for grabs right now, so good luck to anyone who wants to go for it!
