Before October Breast Cancer Awareness month comes to an end, we would like to share our promo of an upcoming courageous and inspiring breast cancer story. This story focuses on a new bride and mother of a toddler, Aubrey Morgart, who was brimming with happiness until she faced the crushing news that she had an aggressive type of breast cancer at the young age of 37. Her devastating diagnosis quickly led to a plan of action by her determined medical oncologist, Dr. Shannon Puhalla from the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. Although a tough treatment plan, Aubrey's remains resolute and hopeful she will resolve with a positive outcome towards remission. Aubrey's story will be featured as part of our Medical Stories documentary series, recently nominated for 4 Emmy Awards with season two premiering early spring 2021 via PBS.
