The "PRO|SL" range has been around since 2006 and during that time has become one of the most recognisable and popular shoes, not only amongst Tour pros, but amateur golfers as well. A few tweaks to the design this year sees the new model provide increased traction and stability, helping with power transfer through the swing, and also a new "carbon" model which is much lighter than the standard. It may not be the cheapest shoe on the market, but you know that you are buying quality when you are buying from FootJoy, who claim to make the "number 1 shoe in golf".
